Backyard Spas
About
The ritual starts outside.
A backyard spa is more than a sauna. It's the stone underfoot between rounds, the fire to come back to, the shower that extends the season. We design and build the whole thing so every part of it feels intentional — because when it all works together, you actually use it.
We've built backyard spas across Squamish, Whistler, and the North Shore — and the ones that get used the most aren't necessarily the biggest. They're the ones where everything was planned together from the start.

We're outside every evening now, even in November. I didn't think that was possible before this.

Everything your backyard spa needs
From the ground up — we handle site prep, utilities, landscaping, and installation so you're not coordinating five different contractors. Just tell us what you're after and we'll make sure every piece fits together.
1.
Site preparation
A properly compacted base tailored to your sauna's specs — so installation goes smoothly and everything sits right for the long haul.
2.
Utility installation
Gas, electrical, drainage — planned before we break ground so every trade shows up to a job that's ready for them.
3.
Patios
Most of the time in a backyard spa happens barefoot, between sessions. Good stone makes that part of the experience too.
4.
Sauna installation
We install Backcountry Recreation and Nootka Saunas in-house — one team, start to finish, no subcontractor scheduling on your end.
5.
Fire pits
The natural gathering point between the sauna and the cold plunge. Gas burns clean; wood burns better.
6.
Outdoor showers
A rinse station between rounds and a way to extend the season well into fall.
7.
Cold plunges
The other half of the hot-cold cycle. We build plunge setups that integrate with the sauna and the rest of the space.
8.
Landscape lighting
Warm, low, app-controlled — planned early so wiring runs cleanly during base prep.
